Anne Renault Director
A senior researcher, Anne Renault holds a PhD in condensed matter physics. Recruited by the CNRS in 1988, she first joined the Physical Spectrometry Laboratory (LSP) in Grenoble as a researcher. In 2000, she took over responsibility for the Biophysics team of the Condensed Matter Group in Rennes (now Institut de Physique de Rennes — Université Rennes 1/ CNRS). Chairwoman of the Scientific Committee of the French Geological Survey (BRGM) and a member of the board of the National Radioactive Waste Management Agency (ANDRA), she was named director of the CNRS Mission for Interdisciplinarity in 2012.
