Claire WerlenDirector of the Mission for the Monitoring of and Relations with CNRS Regional Offices and Institutes (MTAP)

Claire Werlen has a Master's degree in business law and has been a legal manager for 16 years in the legal departments of various research institutions (INRA, CEA and the CNRS). In 2011, she became the deputy administrative director of the CNRS Institute for Engineering and Systems Sciences. She obtained a Master's degree from ENA/Université Dauphine in 2016 before taking charge of the new Research and Innovation Activities Directorate (DARI) at the University of Paris Sud in 2017. At the end of 2019, Claire Werlen returned to the CNRS as director of the MTAP, a transversal steering support mission under the authority of the DGDR.

Missions

The MPR is in charge of transversal management of the DGDR. It coordinates all relations with the CNRS regional offices and acts as the link between the DGDR and the DGDS and more specifically particular works on coordination with the institutes.
