Eric ChareyreDirector of the Internal Audit Department (DAI)
Eric Chareyre was previously the CNRS's deputy regional representative for the Île-de-France Villejuif region. Since 2015 he has managed the organisation's Mutualised Service for the Île-de-France region (IFSeM) which is in charge of engineering, implementing transversal activities and activities shared by the 5 Île-de-France regional offices (training of staff in generic fields; managing real estate and scheduled maintenance work; the purchasing policy applied to these regional offices delegations or which supports IFSeM activities; IT support, asset management and software development). In 2008, he joined the CNRS high-potential management programme and he was awarded the CNRS collective Crystal Medal in 2019.
Missions
Missions of the Internal Audit Department
In compliance with the CNRS's internal audit charter, the DAI provides independent and objective auditing at the CNRS of :
- compliance with regulations and contractual commitments,
- the implementation of governance decisions,
- the effectiveness of processes and adequacy of internal control.
It recommends actions for improvement in the areas audited and ensures the implementation thereof. The DAI does not review research and its work is not within the scope of scientific evaluation.
The Internal Audit Committee
The DAI bases its work on input from the Internal Audit Committee. This is made up of people from outside the CNRS and chaired by an administrator. It informs the Management Board about the CNRS's knowledge of risks and its efforts to control them.
