Rémy MosseriScientific Integrity Officer

CNRS senior researcher Rémy Mosseri specialises in the theoretical physics of condensed matter, in particular quasicrystalline and disordered materials as well as quantum data processing. Since joining the CNRS in 1980, he has taught at the École Polytechnique (1996-2008 and 2014-2015), and since 2016 has been a visiting professor at the University of Xiangtan in China. His interest in issues related to the evaluation of research led to his appointment to the steering committee of the national Conference on Higher Education and Research in 2012. In 2015 he became a member of the Board of the High Council for Evaluation of Research and Higher Education (HCÉRES). A recipient of the French Physical Society’s Paul Langevin Prize in 1992, he has authored more than 130 publications and co-edited four books in the À Découvert collection published by CNRS Editions, on the topics of climate, energy, water and big data. He was a member of the CNRS ethics committee from 2016 to 2021.
