Toward a stronger scientific cooperation between France and Iran

6 June 2017

In the frame of the strengthening of relationship between France and Iran, the CNRS performed in May 2016 an exploratory visit in Iran, in order to improve its comprehension of the Iranian research landscape.

Following this first initiative and in view of enhancing mutual knowledge on new potential partners, the CNRS and the Amirkabir University (AUT) set up a scientific workshop in Teheran on April 19th, 2017.

This event, focusing on Engineering sciences applied to Health, provided an excellent opportunity to further understanding from both Institutions of their international cooperation and research programs. Therefore, the Amirkabir University, which had been appointed by the Iranian Government as the main contact point for scientific relationships with France, has published guidelines in Persian language for Iranian scientists who wish to initiate and implement cooperation actions with the scientists of CNRS research units.

The guidelines can be downloaded here.
