Muriel SinanidèsDirector of the Senior Executives Office

Muriel Sinanidès has a Parisian university diploma in social law and human resources management and is also a qualified HEC coach. She worked in the private sector and local authorities before joining the CNRS in 1996. She was initially in charge of engineering and technical jobs at the Institute for Life Sciences and then joined a Parisian regional office as human resources manager. From 2005 to 2008, she worked as the deputy director of human resources for the CNRS where she was responsible in particular for setting up professional support measures for researchers and for health in the workplace initiatives. In 2008, she became Director of Human Resources at the INRIA and in 2012 occupied the same post at the University of Paris Diderot Paris 7. In 2016, she came back to the CNRS as regional representative for the Centre East region. Since March 15th 2019, Muriel Sinanidès has been the director of the Senior Executives Office.

Missions of the Senior Executives Office

  • To provide the right collective and individual training, opportunities for mobility or individual and collective contributions to the CNRS to enable CNRS scientific, technical and administrative management staff to construct career paths within and outside of the CNRS 
  • To identify and prepare CNRS executives to take up positions in environments with high added value for the CNRS thus enabling the organisation to reinforce its influence strategy
  • To develop and implement the general senior management development policy 
  • To share a reference framework of managerial practices which comply with CNRS values.
