Cleaner production technologies : the environmental
performance verification in test
will be held on 5 March 2008 in Paris.
Based on the dissemination of practical experience of the 4 TESTNET
clean production technologies case studies, the aim of this one-day
workshop is to debate for information, exchange of ideas and
experiences in order to formulate recommendation and contribute to
the design of a well functioning EU environmental technology
verification (ETV) and testing system.
This workshop will provide an overview of the latest developments
in the establishment of a European ETV, and the state-of-the-art in
cleaner production technologies and their practical application in
the field.

Programme
What is TESTNET ?
TESTNET aims to enhance the application of Environmentally Sound
Technologies (EsTs) through the development of a European system
for the production of reliable and independent performance data for
EsTs.
TESTNET validate the functionality of verification system for the
two schemes it has developed and for selected technologies. This is
done by evaluating the performance of a selected number of
innovative technologies, in water technologies and clean production
technologies, including in both technology areas environmental
monitoring.
