The 'MoleculArXiv' (DNA data storage) exploratory PEPR
The 'MoleculArXiv' exploratory PEPR is dedicated to the storage of massive data on DNA and artificial polymers. Its objective is to invent new data storage devices on molecular media including both DNA and artificial polymers. Its ambition is to position French academic research (computer science, chemistry, biology, nanotechnology, microfluidics) and industrial research in this area at the highest international level.
To achieve the programme's objectives, four targeted projects were launched in the summer of 2022 to initiate multidisciplinary research in chemistry, microfluidics, signal theory, bioinformatics, sequencing biology and polymer chemistry. Calls for projects or expressions of interest will also be launched to reach more French laboratories likely to be interested in storing data on DNA or non-DNA polymers.
