The 'Spin' (digital) exploratory PEPR

The aim of the 'Spin' programme is to support a new cycle of innovations that consider frugality to be an equally essential performance criterion as computing power, speed, miniaturisation and cost. The project focuses on extremely promising emerging themes in spin-orbitronics, magnonics and multifunctional materials and thus aims for the 'digital world' to grow at a sustainable environmental cost in the context of a return to technological independence.
