Brigitte PeruccaDirector
After completing advanced studies in the Arts, Brigitte Perucca began her career as a journalist with the Agence Centrale de Presse (ACP). After a period at L’Usine Nouvelle, she worked for ten years on the staff of the daily newspaper Les Échos. In 2001, she became editor of the monthly publication Le Monde de l’Éducation and La Lettre de l’Éducation. In this capacity, she supervised “Le Monde de la Recherche Universitaire,” an award program aimed at publishing the work of young researchers, focusing on interdisciplinary projects. In 2008, she joined the “Planète” section of the French daily Le Monde, before taking over as director of the CNRS Ccommunications Department in January 2011.

Missions
The Communications Department defines and implements the CNRS communication strategy. It develops scientific and institutional communication aimed at the general public, highlighting scientific advances and talents within the oorganization, in order to increase its attractiveness and enhance its image.
